Our client, a large QLD Government department, is seeking to engage an experienced Senior Business Analyst to streamline and implement business processes and practices. About the Role As Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and review of current registry business processes primarily within the the business to propose innovative and streamlined registry business processes and practice. Furthermore, you will lead the implementation of streamlined registry business processes and practice. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and analysis of business process diagrams using Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) and narratives to inform improvements. Contribute to the delivery of registry business process reviews by effectively participating in planning sessions, team meetings and lead facilitation of stakeholder workshops. Collaborate with the QCAT leadership team and Courts and Tribunal Digitisation Program project team members to ensure business process and practice improvements are aligned to future digitisation. Facilitate workshops and consult with subject matter experts to elicit business process and practice improvements. Elicit and document process models, detailing current state processes and developing and proposing future state processes. Collaborate with the change management team to analyse, identify and document change impacts and mitigations. Lead the implementation of business process and practice improvement including user acceptance testing activity and documenting the results of user acceptance testing. Identify issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary. How you will be assessed (Key Selection Criteria) Proactivity in bringing new perspectives to existing structures and processes to drive innovative improvement. Adept at developing valuable connections with diverse stakeholders to improve collaboration both internally and externally to the department. Excel at efficiently managing tasks, teams, and a high volume of matters in fast-paced environments to ensure effective implementation of new processes. Familiarity with large, highly regulated workplaces to enable effective navigation of complex regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Ability to utilise existing registry experience to understand internal processes and how they compare with external best practice to improve service delivery. Exhibit self-awareness and pursue personal growth, with proven experience in embracing collaboration. Qualifications and conditions While there are no mandatory qualifications, relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded. understanding of legal processes within a courts and tribunal framework qualifications and experience of business process improvement using Six Sigma methodology advanced knowledge of BPMN process modelling and associated software and drawing tools e.g., MS Visio a minimum of five years' experience in business analyst roles focusing business process and practice improvement is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills at an advanced level (including the ability to establish relationships, facilitate workshops, consult and influence both business and technical people). experience with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform but not essential.
