Velvet is a renowned patisserie and café known for its premium cakes,
artisan pastries, and creative desserts. We are seeking an experienced
and passionate Senior Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team and take a
leading role in maintaining the excellence and creativity that defines
our brand. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and produce high-quality cakes,
pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity. Lead day-to-day
operations of the pastry kitchen and ensure smooth workflow. Supervise,
train, and motivate junior pastry staff. Develop new menu items and
seasonal dessert offerings in collaboration with management. Monitor
ingredient quality, stock levels, and cost control within the pastry
section. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace
health standards. Maintain consistency, presentation, and attention to
detail in every product. Skills and Experience: Certificate IV in
Patisserie or Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 2
years’ experience in pastry production, preferably in a senior role.
Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills. Excellent
knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.
Creativity, innovation, and a passion for producing exceptional
